It takes about a minute to pick up. The wheel has 37 pockets: 1 to 36, split between red and black, plus one green zero.

Place your bets
Drop chips on single numbers, the lines between them, or the outside boxes like red, black and the dozens. You can spread chips across as many bets as you like.

Every bet on a European wheel has the same 2.70% house edge. Bigger payouts just come with smaller chances of winning. The bars show how often each bet wins, compared with red or black.
Payouts are winnings for every £1 staked, and you get your stake back too. So a winning £1 straight-up returns £36. Chances assume one bet on a fair 37-pocket wheel.

European vs French vs American Roulette
European and French both use one zero. American adds a second, and that one extra pocket roughly doubles the edge against you.

European Roulette Racetrack and Call Bets
The racetrack lays the numbers out in the order they sit on the wheel, not the order on the table. It lets you bet on a whole slice of the wheel in one go. Many online games, and live tables such as Immersive Roulette, have one built in.
Covering more of the wheel doesn’t change the 2.70% edge. You’re just spreading more chips, so each spin costs more.

What is the RTP of European roulette?
97.30% on every standard bet, which is the same as a 2.70% house edge. Evoplay lists 97.30% for this game too. If you see 98.65% quoted, that’s the figure for French roulette’s half-back rule on even-money bets, not standard European roulette.
What are the betting limits in the demo?
From 0.10 up to 100 per bet. The biggest possible win is 3,600: a 100 straight-up that pays 35 to 1, plus your stake back.
Is European roulette better than American roulette?
Yes, on the maths. European has one zero and a 2.70% edge. American adds a double zero, which pushes the edge up to 5.26%.
What happens to red or black if zero comes in?
On a standard European table, all even-money bets lose. At a table with La Partage, you get half your stake back instead, which cuts the edge on those bets to 1.35%.
Are outside bets safer than inside bets?
They win more often but pay less. The house edge is the same 2.70% whichever bet you choose, so “safer” really means smaller swings, not better odds.
Can I play European roulette for real money in the UK?
