How Lightning Roulette Works
It’s a standard European table, 0 to 36, with one extra step between betting and the spin. That step is the whole game.
Place your bets
All the usual bets are there: single numbers, splits, corners, dozens, red or black.
Lightning strikes
Betting closes and one to five random numbers get hit, each with a multiplier from 50x to 500x.
The ball lands
Live, it’s a real automatic wheel. In the First Person demo, the result is RNG.
You get paid
A straight-up bet on a winning Lucky Number gets its multiplier. Every other winning bet pays the normal rate.

What is the RTP of Lightning Roulette?
Evolution’s figures are 97.10% on straight-up bets, with the multipliers included, and 97.30% on everything else. That makes the house edge 2.90% on single numbers and 2.70% on the rest.
Why does a normal straight-up win pay 29:1 instead of 35:1?
That’s how the multipliers are paid for. A £1 winner that isn’t a Lucky Number gets £29 profit plus your £1 back, so £30 in total. Some screens show this as 30x. It’s the same payout written two ways.
Which bets get the Lightning multiplier?
Only a straight-up bet on the number that wins. If a Lucky Number lands but you covered it with a split, corner, dozen or red/black, you get the normal payout and nothing extra.
How much does a 500x Lightning win pay?
In the First Person demo the multiplier is your total return, so £1 on a number that hits at 500x gives you £500 back. The live game’s paytable may show it as profit odds instead, so check the help screen at your table.
How many Lucky Numbers are there each round?
Between one and five, picked at random after betting closes. Each one gets a multiplier from 50x to 500x.
What’s the difference between Lightning and XXXtreme Lightning Roulette?
XXXtreme adds Chain Lightning, which can strike up to nine more numbers, and Double Strikes, which can take a win up to 2,000x. The original Lightning Roulette tops out at 500x.
