How the Two Stages Settle
One winning six-line returns six times its stake in total, including the original stake. Because five positions are active, the net profit on a covered spin equals the stake on one six-line.

Each European stage leaves seven pockets uncovered. Two particular spins both miss only when both results come from those seven pockets.

A 96.42% positive-sequence rate is not a player advantage. The less frequent -£325 ending is much larger than the +£5 and +£35 endings, so expected value remains negative.
How often can an adjacent two-miss run appear?
The 3.58% figure starts at one fixed pair. During a longer run, a pair can begin at many overlapping positions.

Flat betting has smaller per-spin exposure because the stake does not jump. It still does not remove the wheel’s house edge.

How We Checked the Maths
The main model uses a 37-pocket European wheel, five non-overlapping six-lines covering 1 to 30, the normal 5:1 payout, £5 on each opening position and £60 on each recovery position.
A covered spin returns six times one line stake in total. Because five line bets are active, the net result on that spin equals one line stake. The miss probability is 7/37 and two fixed misses are (7/37)2.
This guide resets after a stage-two hit and stops after a second miss. Expected turnover includes stage two only when stage one misses. The adjacent-run figures use a two-state recurrence that handles overlapping pairs.
