Lucky Seven rules without the usual shortcuts
Use one qualifying even money selection, record the complete cycle result, and keep the target of seven wins separate from any shorter personal stop. Stopping after three wins creates a different, shorter progression.
Choose the base unit
Start with 1 unit on Red or Black, Odd or Even, or 1-18 or 19-36. A smaller unit is easier to fit around table limits, as explained in the low stakes roulette guide.
After every win
Multiply the stake just placed by 1.5. A win at 1 unit leads to a 1.5 unit stake, then 2.25, 3.375 and so on.
After any full loss
Record the completed cycle profit or loss and return the next stake to 1 unit. Do not continue the elevated stake to recover the loss.
After the seventh win
The exact cycle is 32.171875 units ahead. Bank that cycle result and return to the starting stake.

A loss on bet three does not erase the cycle
The exact maths matters because positive progressions can retain part of the earlier winnings. Here is the shortest example that exposes the difference.
Seven wins are the named target, not the first profitable point
With exact stakes, a loss on bet one leaves -1 unit, a loss on bet two leaves -0.5 units, and a loss on bet three leaves +0.25 units. Every later loss in the sequence also leaves the completed cycle ahead.

Chance reached is not chance completed
Bet seven is reached after six consecutive wins. From a fixed starting point, the chance of reaching it is about 1.326%. Winning bet seven completes the target, which has a probability of about 0.645% from the same starting point.
Odds of seven wins from one start and during a session
On European roulette, an even money bet wins on 18 of 37 pockets. From a fixed starting point, the chance that the next seven spins all win is 0.6449%. During a longer session, there are many possible places for a run of seven wins to begin.
Calculation from one fixed start
That is 0.6449%, or about one successful sequence in every 155 attempts from a fixed starting point. Three consecutive wins from one start occur 11.5136% of the time.

What the number does not mean
It does not mean that a run of seven wins appears only once every 155 spins. A run can begin at many overlapping points during a session, so the chance rises as more spins are observed.

The progression is simple on paper, but actual table increments and zero settlement determine what you can place and when the cycle resets.
Stake increments
With a £1 base, the exact targets are £1.00, £1.50, £2.25, £3.375, £5.0625, £7.59375 and £11.390625. The calculator displays cash to two decimals but retains the exact unit values.

Live betting windows
The arithmetic becomes awkward from bet four onwards. On a fast live roulette table, calculate the ladder before starting and check the maximum before the stakes rise.
A Repeat button copies the previous amount, not the required 1.5× increase, so the next value still needs to be entered correctly.
European single zero
Zero is a full loss on standard Red or Black, Odd or Even, and High or Low bets. Under the version calculated here, that loss ends the current Lucky Seven cycle and the next stake returns to 1 unit.
French La Partage
On qualifying French roulette, zero returns half the stake. Published Lucky Seven rules do not give one settled instruction for a half loss, so the calculator uses standard European settlement instead.
American roulette makes the underlying bet worse
On American roulette, the chance of seven wins from one fixed start falls to about 0.535%, and the standard house edge rises to 5.26%. The progression still functions mechanically, but every unit of turnover carries the higher double zero edge.
Lucky Seven compared with other roulette progressions
Lucky Seven belongs with positive progressions because the stake rises after a win. It is not a muted Martingale in the strict sense because Martingale increases after a loss.
